Magic Mobility has a range of RAM mounts available to help keep your cup, phone, tablet and cameras on hand when you’re out exploring. Some of these mounts can even be fitted in tandem, so you can easily access both your phone and your drink, for example.

Adding a sunshade to your power wheelchair can help protect you from harmful UV rays. It can provide the necessary shade to help keep you cool when you’re out and about. Sunshades can be retrofitted to your existing powerchair with either MPS or Rehab seating and easily removed when not required.

Adding puncture-resistant tyre liners can give you peace of mind when you’re heading out to explore. These can help you avoid flat tyres, particularly when you’re operating at a low PSI. Made from Aramid Fibre-reinforced rubber compound, these tyres liners have been designed to manage rough terrain.

When you’re heading out to explore, it’s nice to know that your battery has the power to get you where you need to go and home safely.

Here are some tips to care for your battery, to ensure it will get you where you need to go:

• Always fully charge your batteries before you use your powerchair.
• Try to avoid undercharging your batteries, or overcharging them (leaving them on the charger for an extended period after they have fully charged) can shorten their life in the long term.
• Avoid storing your powerchair in extreme temperatures, as this can affect the battery life.
• All Magic Mobility powerchairs have electric batteries so must never be driven through water. This includes rivers, creeks and the sea.
