Life should be an adventure

For US veterans Kevin St Amant and Michael Trost, the off-road mobility enabled by their Magic Mobility Extreme X8 powerchair restored their ability to set out on new adventures. The confidence gained by having their 4×4 powerchair allowed them to get out into the world again and truly changed their lives.

Kevin from Florida is a disabled Marine Corps veteran who hasn’t looked back since he received his Magic Mobility Extreme X8.

“It allows me to venture off the pavement without worrying about getting stuck.”

“My Extreme X8 is great on the beach and very capable on the trail. With a motor on each tyre, I can easily conquer off-road obstacles”, Kevin says.

Michael has regained his dignity thanks to his Magic Mobility powerchair

“Empowering, capable and versatile” is how Kevin describes his powerchair.

He tells us his powerchair has allowed him to do things that he previously didn’t believe possible. Beyond getting outdoors and off-road, Kevin’s Extreme X8 also helps him to complete everyday tasks that were previously difficult or impossible.

“Empowering, capable and versatile”, was how Kevin described his chair when we asked him to sum up his experience with the Extreme X8.

Michael is a US Army veteran who lives on a farm in Maryland. Getting into his Extreme X8 has restored a level of freedom and confidence that has transformed his daily life.

Thanks to his Extreme X8, Michael can now undertake projects on his farm that he otherwise would not be able to.

“How would I describe what the Magic Mobility Extreme X8 means to me? Dignity, independence and freedom,” says Michael.

It’s given him back access to the farm, enabled him to return to his hobbies including duck and deer hunting and fly fishing, and to complete projects on his farm whilst undertaking adventures with his family and friends.

“My Extreme X8 gives me more freedom because it allows me to get out on uneven terrain,” Michael says. “I had 17 guys that I served with in Iraq come to the farm for a reunion. I was able to manoeuvre all over the property and participate with my guys!”
