Magic Mobility's XT4 takes off-road accessibility to the next level.

The newly awarded XT4 takes off-road accessibility to the next level.

As the peak body representing assistive technology suppliers in Australia and New Zealand, ATSA hosts annual expos in major cities across the region, showcasing the best in Assistive Technology. These expos allow AT dealers, users and therapists to discover what’s new in the industry and compare the latest innovations on offer.

First revealed to great acclaim at the Adelaide ATSA expo back in March, Magic Mobility’s new XT4 and XT2 were star attractions at the Sydney and Brisbane Expos held last month in May.

Our XT4 was nominated alongside a wide range of other new products for the Australian Innovation; Product of the Year award, which was judged by peer- and panel-reviewed assessment against a range of criteria, including user benefits and social impact.

The XT4’s many innovations are the result of many years of intense effort from the team at Magic Mobility.

Winning the award recognises that the XT4’s innovations in suspension, traction, steering and battery range provide powered wheelchair users with a significant step up in their ability to access extreme off-road environments in safety and comfort, with increased confidence and reduced range anxiety.

These innovations were the result of many years of intense effort by our design, engineering and production teams, whose passion for innovation over the past 30 years has always been driven by feedback and suggestions from our users.

With both the XT2 and XT4, our primary aims were to enhance users’ ability to look good, feel good, have control and go further on a single charge.

We are proud that the results of our passion for life-enhancing innovation have been recognised by our peers and delighted to finally make these available to powered wheelchair users around the world*.

Magic Mobility is also pleased to have been selected as one of seven finalists for ATSA’s Supplier/Manufacturer of the Year award, and for Scott Staunton, our Rehab Engineer and Direct Sales Manager, who was a finalist in the AT Product Consultant and Industry Person of the Year categories.
