The Extreme X8 turns 15!

In our 30th year of manufacturing high-end wheelchairs, Magic Mobility are proud to announce that our much-loved Extreme X8 4×4 off-road chair has now been around for 15 years.

And while we have made a lot of improvements along the way, the same fundamental design has withstood the test of time to earn its reputation as perhaps the world’s most robust and liberating personal mobility solution for people who have no other way to get themselves off-road and into the great outdoors.

Since the first Extreme X8s rolled off our Australian production line back in 2009, we have made and shipped these beloved chairs to lots of happy users all over the world.

Since last year, Extreme X8s destined for the US market have been rolling out of our Nashville facility, all built to the same high engineering standards as in Australia.

Our aim is to keep making the X8 available to more users globally, without ever compromising on quality.

And, while the next generation of XT4 off-road 4×4 powerchairs are now becoming available to users in our home market, the good news is that the Extreme X8 will continue to be built, sold and serviced as long as it meets users’ needs at a price they can afford.
