It’s a common problem. A child or wheelchair user finds themselves on a trajectory to a dangerous situation, and a carer cannot get there in time to help!

Magic Mobility has released a new Scooter Stopper – a remote control device to assist in times of need where the carer or attendant can prevent injury through the simple click of a button.

The Scooter Stopper is a mechanical switch which can allow an attendant to stop a powerchair via remote control up to a distance of 25 metres. It’s perfect for carers and parents of young children, or in situations where a carer needs to step in to prevent accident or injury. This gives carers and attendants greater peace of mind when out and about with a wheelchair user.

The threat of stairs is removed. Potentially dangerous explorations can be controlled within limits.

Plugged into the back of the chair and attached to the power module, the Scooter Stopper is out of the way.
