Users Share Their Views from the Chair

Views from the Chair is a platform that aims to help therapists, the community, government and funders better understand the views of wheelchair users.

We are encouraging and enabling people to share their stories, so everyone can see how having the right wheelchair can allow people with disabilities to live life to the max and fully realise their capabilities; achieving more freedom, adventure, togetherness and personal empowerment.

The launch of our fully featured, Views from the Chair community website is on the horizon. Right now, we’re delighted to share our introductory video with you. We invited a diverse group of wheelchair users to share their views and talk about why having access to wheelchair technology that’s customised for individual needs is of such a benefit to people’s lives.

Please take some time out to watch the video below, and if you agree with our message, please share it far and wide so we can generate some real discussion. What are your views? We want to fill the Views from the Chair website with your pictures and stories. Please post to our Facebook page and share your favourite wheelchair adventures and experiences, or you can email us. Let’s keep the momentum going, and make sure everyone hears our views from the chair!
