What’s New? Transfer Tilt

Due to popular demand, our in-house engineers have been busy developing some new power features that are designed to make your transition into and out of your powerchair easier.

Recently we have introduced an anterior transfer tilt with tilt only power function. Prior to this, users could only access anterior transfer tilt in combination with the lift and tilt power function, making this cost prohibitive or not funded for some.

The transfer tilt function is designed to enable users to transfer into and out of their chair independently. It can be used with our new articulating footplate, which levels itself with the ground, to prevent users from tripping.

The anterior transfer tilt function, a power-based underseat function, provides a 12 degree anterior tilt. This gives just enough angle so that users can step out of their chair, without sliding out.

This new power function is also a more cost-effective solution than the lift and tilt, for users who don’t require a lift function.

The articulating footplate has been designed as a compatible option, with a more compact, slim design with a non-slip grip. This footplate is designed to contact the ground, ensuring that the seat can lower the full 12 degrees, with the footplate level with the ground.

The footplate is attached to a centre post legrest, which ensures there is no interference with the castors. This also means it stays out of the way when you’re transferring into out of and your powerchair.

Both of these functions can be retrofitted to your Magic Mobility Frontier V6 or V4.
